We are also required to complete a minimum of 24 hours of continuing education. If we take X-Rays in the office we must take an additional 6 hours minimum every 2 years for X-ray. Infants and toddlers get adjusted with specific tools and hands on technique that have less force. Infants and newborns only get &#8220;contact pressure&#8221; which you can reproduce by putting pressure on the bottom side of your nail until it turns slightly white. \u00a0We treat so many kids in our office and the parents tell us they see less fussiness, colic, ear infections, and the list goes on and on&#8230;.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<h4>What insurances do you accept?<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Some insurances do cover chiropractic. We also accept most PPO&#8217;s which we can verify for no cost. Your coverage depends on your plan and deductible. However, what the insurance will provide and what I know you need are two different things. Our front desk will find out exactly what is covered, and we will go over it with you.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<h4>How Long Will It Take To Work?<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Everybody is different. The best way to get a complete understanding and honest doctor recommendation is to come in for a consult\u00a0 and exam. \u00a0Most people find some immediate relief, however we have treatment plans that range from 2 weeks to 4 months.\u00a0 Typically it does take time for full resolution and to get rid of the core issue.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<h4>I heard that once you go to a chiropractor you have to keep going?<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>You will see LOTS of families in our office getting adjusted on a regular basis. One of the best things you can do for your body is getting your spine checked and adjusted by a GREAT chiropractor.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<h4>How are infant and toddler adjustments different than adult adjustments?<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Adjustments to infants and toddlers are VERY GENTLE. The amount of pressure that you place on your eyelid or pressure to put on a tomato to not create an indent is the gentle pressure applied to the spine.  There are no rotatory movements and Dr. Sanchez might use a clicker tool called the activator.  Actually, a lot of infants tend to stay asleep throughout the whole adjustment.
